Never mind where we’re in the world we all require to know the time at some point in the day but while every day lasts for the same period no matter where you are on world the same timescale isn’t employed in the world.

The impracticality of australians having to wake up at 17. 00 or those in the us having to begin work at 14. 00 would reject suing a single timescale, even though the idea was discussed when the greenwich was named the official prime meridian for the world very much of 125 years ago.

While the idea of a worldwide timescale was rejected for the above mentioned reasons, it was later decisive that 24 longitudinal lines would split the world up into dissimilar timezones. This would emanate from gmt around with those contrarily side of the planet being +12 hours.
